  • "Lovely stay had a problem with a wasp nest which I think had been raised in July by previous guests we were unable to have the large window open which in the heat was unbearable we went out and bought a fan which helped and also some wasp nest killer which got rid of the nest very quickly."

Freezer was completely frozen and unusable but didn't effect us as we didn't need it anyway bedroom window not able to open. We enjoyed our stay and despite having the few setbacks listed would definitely return as it was lovely setting close to the beach

I was stung once, my dog stung twice and needed a vet. Shower attachment leaks badly. General level of maintenance poor. Kitchen pans poor.

1st visit to this part of Wales & it's a beautiful area. Will definitely stay again some time. Loved the camp pheasant which comes around twice daily imitating steam train whistle from Gwilli Railway - We named him Ivor after the engine LOL.

  • "Chalet has everything you need for a weekend away and the owner had left a food welcome hamper which was lovely."

Overall the chalet has all the requires amenities - oven, kettle, TV, tea and coffee was provided - but I feel like the whole unit needs a refurbishment as it is quite dated. Cleanliness was OK - mostly clean but I did find some clumps of dust and hair on a couple of the surfaces.

  • "The only thing we found a bit unpleasant was a slight smell of drains, and quite a lot of flies."

But that could be from the estuary. Very comfy little chalet with everything you could want. Lovely little goodies left and even dog biscuits. Enjoyed very much.

  • "Lovely quiet holiday park & comfortable accommodation ensured we had a relaxing week away."

This was our second time here so we knew what to expect. Thank you for our treats on arrival; they were appreciated by all of us & were a pleasant surprise after our long journey. The chalet was small but clean & comfortable for our family (2 adults, 1 teen & dog), very light & airy due to the large windows & we enjoyed making use of the garden furniture when the Welsh weather allowed! The kitchen was adequately equipped to enable us to prepare evening meals. Location good for visiting the local towns, countryside & wonderful sandy, dog friendly beaches.

  • "Lovely little place, easy to find (as per instructions) lovely welcome gift left for us!"

Lots of room for us to store our luggage, although the master bedroom could have done with one more drawer unit. Decking was made use of in the evenings to relax and watch the sun go down and the kids enjoyed the open air. The On site swimming pool was great, spacious and well frequented by our family. Great location, lots of places within easy driving distance (Llansteffan and it’s beach and castle) and Folly Farm wasn’t too far away. All in all we had a lovely time staying there and a great time of year to visit

Great welcome pack, bagels, milk etc. Good base for visiting main cities, the Gower and Brecon Beacons. Would include better directions to site, i.e. turn off main road where road sign says Maison Hotel.
