  • "Premises ok."

Tree in middle of parking space !!!! Fri to sun ok. Mon to thurs terrible. Builders putting up new wall at end of terrace. Saw noise and banging from 8.30 to 4.30pm. Could not open patio doors or use balcony. Had to wash car 3 times in week due to sawdust and sticky droppings from trees. Premises should not have been let out with building site next door. I respectfully suggest u give me 40% refund for holiday spoilt.

  • "Only problem was the front door was difficult to lock and the recycling bin lid was broken but I would highly recommend this beautiful little lodge and I will definitely be booking again."

    Thank you so much

  • "The 4 of us had a great and comfortable 6-night stay at Rowan Lodge."

Lovely to have a balcony as well as access to communal gardens. Be aware of no WiFi and no supplies provided, so bring all you need to start you off. Great location for driving to the coast for lovely walks. We visited Amroth, Saundersfoot, Tenby, Pembroke Castle, Caldey Island, Stackpole Quay & Barafundle Bay, Manorbier Castle. Would certainly recommend.

  • "The lodge is okay and whilst you could tell it had been cleaned there were aspects that could have been cleaner, for example, the basin needed cleaning, there was evidence of dust and cobwebs on the kitchen velux light."

We were surprised to see tears in the sofa and with the place being dated a lick of paint would have improved it. There is no wi-fi and the TV did suffer from intermittent reception issues. In light of these issues we think the lodge was over priced.

  • "The cottage in itself was good value for money, comfortable with well equipped Kitchen equipment, entertainment and welcome pack including milk in the fridge and welsh cakes."

Ideally located for access to beaches and places to visit. However cleanliness left a lot to be desired - dust everywhere, dirty bath and basin and very greasy cooker. The cooker is very old, every time you use the grill it trips the electrics and it takes a very long time to heat the oven and the dials are not very accurate anymore, none of the cooker pans provided fit very well. Also the bed linen could do with replacing as it is bobbled and hence not the most comfortable especially on hot nights. Otherwise we had a fantastic holiday and love Pembrokeshire. We would consider going back to this cottage so long as cleanliness was improved. Could do with equipment in the park for younger children our 3 year old was unimpressed ;)

  • "The bedroom light did not work as the bulb needed replacing which I did as I found spares in the chest of drawers."

When I went upstairs there was a puddle on the kitchen floor as the there was a leak from the velum window, this also happened later in the week. The electrics tripped a couple of days and on one of the days it was a number of times as I had the TV, microwave, hob and kettle on at the same time. I did report this and apparently there was maintenance and an electric check due on my departure day. Also the pub is not always open.

So sorry for the inconvenience caused. It appears that there was a large build-up of moss around the Velux window, and one of the electric circuits was serving too many of the appliances. Both of these issues have been addressed and should not cause problems in future. Thank you for your comments and we hope to welcome you back again soon. Property Owner

The beaches are stunning with lots of choice for eating out along the coastline. The TV switches itself on ,so we turned it off on the plug when leaving the lodge. It also changes channel without even touching the remote control.
