Glyncorrwg, in the Afan Forest Park, is a traditional Welsh village steeped in mining history, and where you will meet friendly villagers in the shop or the pub always happy to chat about their memories of the vibrant mining era. The famous Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre attracts cyclists and walkers from all over the world and is the trailhead for Whites Level and Skyline mountain biking trails. There are also coarse and fly fishing lakes nearby for the fisherman in your party. A little further afield you can explore the Garw Valley or the Brecon Beacons on foot, bicycle, horse or in the car to enjoy spectacular scenery and the opportunity to watch rare breeds of hunting birds at extremely close quarters. For the less active, relax on the beach at Port Talbot or Porthcawl or take a shopping trip to the Designer Outlet Village at Bridgend.
