  • "You describe the property as dog friendly."

I would suggest that should be “dog tolerant”. There was no enclosed garden; the decking area was accessed by 4 extremely steep rickety steps, and had to be physically closed off by tying a piece of fencing across the entrance/exit. The garden shown in your brochure is full of weeds, which my wife had to remove to get to the rotary dryer. The exit onto the lane was extremely dangerous. The bungalow itself is quite comfortable, although it could do with a good cleaning, particularly the fridge and oven.

  • "Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable stay in very comfortable and clean bungalow with excellent facilities, in an area of outstanding countryside and woodland, within easy breach of the seaside and other attractions of Pembrokeshire."

The owner of the property lived nearby and was particularly welcoming . The only, and I emphasise only, criticism that I could offer is that the large timber deck and its stairs could benefit from some attention.

  • "This is a lovely property in a very peaceful and quiet area."

The property is well equipped and comfortable. Cleanliness wise it was generally good but could be improved. The lamps were very dusty and the fridge needs a good clean or replacing. An ensuite was a nice feature but the showers had poor power. On the whole it was a good cottage for the price.

We were welcomed on arrival by the owner which was a lovely touch . The owners are clearly working hard to improve all 3 properties. This was our first visit to Wales and although slightly more remote than we thought it was the perfect spot for exploring Pembrokeshire

  • "The bungalow met and indeed exceeded our expectations - the level of cleanliness was outstanding and it is easily the best equipped property we have stayed in."

The layout and the way the bungalow was furnished enabled my mother-in-law to move around without the need for her frame for the first time since the onset of her mobility issues in November which was fantastic to see. A very minor thing for us, we weren't able to find the paddock where my son and husband would have liked to play a bit of footie but no biggy, he's 18 years old so had another beer instead. Thank you so much for enabling us to take mother-in-law away on holiday to an exceptionally clean, comfortable and safe environment, it meant the world to both her and us !

  • "We had a wonderful week's stay at Ffynnon Dewi!"

The property was extremely clean and well equipped for a family. I could not fault a thing about the house! Everything we needed was provided. The beds were very comfortable. We used the bbq one evening which the owners provided charcoal for. There is a paddock across the road with play equipment. The equipment has probably seen better days but the children liked the trampolines and small cars. The property's location is very rural, more so than expected. There isn't much at all within walking distance, even a local shop. However within 20-30 mins there is a huge choice of places to visit. Oakwood, Bluestone and folly farm are all very close by as well as towns such as Tenby, Saundersfoot and Pembroke. I'd highly recommend staying in these properties, it's a lovely base for exploring Pembrokeshire
