Making up part of a renovated cowshed, set within four acres of picturesque countryside, this purpose-built, ground floor annexe is attached to the owners’ home near St. Clears, perfect for couples or small families to relax and unwind together. The gated entrance leads into an open yard and fenced paddock with free roaming ducks greeting you along with the owners’ friendly dogs. Close the gate, park up and step onto the enclosed, covered veranda before stepping into the double bedroom, providing access to the shower room in this St. Clears cottage. Very well-presented, this unusual layout gives you the opportunity to sit up in bed and open up the patio doors to bring the country atmosphere right into the room. Enter the open plan living space to find a kitchen, a dining area where you can relax and enjoy meals together, and a sitting area where you can curl up with a bottle of wine to share by the electric fire, and there is also a single bedroom. On warm summer evenings, why not sit outside and watch the free roaming fowl and, remember, with a covered veranda the weather will not be a problem! Younger ones can burn off some excess energy on the grassed area, perfectly safe away from the road. Venture to St. Clears, a busy little market town with an array of shops, pubs, eateries, and the wonderful West Wales Centre for Crafts, along with a great selection of little antique shops. For more shopping, a visit to the cinema, Merlin’ Hill Centre, or a steam railway ride, just hop in the car and drive the short distance to Carmarthen. The wonderful South Wales Coast beckons too, and with so many sandy beaches, hidden coves, the spectacular Wales Coast Path, and the opportunity to try out watersports, take boat trips and much more, this fabulous St. Clears holiday cottage is perfectly located. Note: Access to shower room through double bedroom only. Note: Although all ground floor there is one small step into the porch, ramped access can be arranged.

St. Clears is a small town set inland between Carmarthen and the coastal resorts of the Pembrokeshire coast. Great for exploring the South Wales coastline, the area is ideal for walkers, cyclists, and explorers alike. St. Clears hosts a variety of festivals and carnivals throughout the year, has a number of shops, pubs and eateries, and the mound of the 12th century St. Clears Castle can still be seen. There are a number of shops, pubs and eateries in the town and within a short drive of St. Clears are Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park and Heron's Brook Golfing and Fishing Centre. Visit Tenby, Laugharne Castle, the Dylan Thomas Boathouse and the renowned Botanic and Aberglasney Gardens. In all directions there is easy access to stunning scenery including the Preselli Mountains, the Pembrokeshire coastal path, Gower Peninsula, and the Brecon Beacons. A wonderful base for exploring South Wales, with something for everyone!
