  • "This is the second year we have stayed at The Pines."

Its location is perfect for us to access the beaches and the activities. The property is really well presented, clean and comfortable and the hot tub is perfect after a busy day. The garden being fully enclosed gives us peace of mind and the added extras for the children and our dog are most welcome.

Pauline , Thanks for choosing the Pines again & the lovely comments ! So pleased you the family & Mr Wilson Property Owner

  • "Lovely spacious bungalow, perfectly clean with everything you need for a relaxing holiday."

Very peaceful location with easy access to places to visit. Hot tub is an added bonus at this property. Garden is really dog friendly, being fully enclosed allowing our spaniel to roam freely while we spent time in the hot tub!! The added treats and bowl selection for the dog was a nice gesture too. Lovely little welcome pack was much appreciated. The owner is lovely and checked in to make sure everything was ok during the week. Would highly recommend this property for a relaxing break away from home.

Thanks Nikki, For taking the time to write such a positive review .( it’s much appreciated) So pleased you & the family enjoyed your stay in our lovely county Property Owner

  • "The house was lovely."

It needs some plastic dishes and cover for the microwave. We used the dog bowl by the way. -- Could do with a clock in the kitchen. -- A lady rang me during the week to check if everything was all right. Unfortunately she first send a text to my HOME PHONE NUMBER which was translated by virgin into something uninteligable. Then she left messages on my HOME PHONE if we needed anything. Of course I was not in Plymouth but in her house in Wales. But I still appreciated the sentiment of receiving the messages on my return. If you dial an 01 number it's a home phone. Most mobiles start with 07. my mobile number was on the website. -- I would recommend this house to all. All was clean. The house very peacefully situated. If we come back to Wales I will book this house again. Hot Tub out of this world. -- Recommend. .

  • "A lovely property with plenty of space and room to breathe."

Nice patio and garden. Situated within a short distance of a large town and many nearby beaches which are very easy to get to - so it was not difficult to enjoy the peace and quiet whilst still being able to visit lots of nearby places. Very happy!

  • "Fabulous holiday home, spotlessly clean, comfortable and a great place to get away from it all, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet."

Garden is totally enclosed and secure so great for letting our dog explore and run around. Hot tub is a fabulous addition and is clearly very well maintained. The bungalow is semi-detached but you wouldn’t really know it as it offers total privacy. Great location for exploring the beautiful Pembrokeshire. Would highly recommend.

  • "The Pines is a comfortable well equipped bungalow in a lovely location, with lots of things to go to see and do nearby."

The owners ensured that everyone feels welcome upon arrival, the beach toys for the children were a real surprise. Returning to The Pines after a full day and sitting in the garden or the hot tub ended the days perfectly and the totally enclosed garden made sure our dog was safe and secure. Ideal base to discover and enjoy the beauty of Pembrokeshire.

Thanks again . We really appreciate the feedback Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay (once we found it - the directions are for arriving from Haverfordwest - we took a wrong turn as Sat Nav at Haverfordwest says the 5th exit at the roundabout- there is no roundabout at this point but you can do a U turn at the lights intersection and turn left) The Pines was clean, comfortable and we felt safe there."

Newgale Beach is only a 9 minute drive away, a fab local beach! We visited St David's, Fishguard and Cardigan (between 20- 50 mins drive). The hot tub was great, clean and well maintained. Due to the cattle farm there were flies which did get annoying so I think a fly zapper machine or some fly swats being available would be appreciated. A good location, would definitely recommend. We had a brilliant holiday!

  • "Very nice property, and the owners were very helpful and super quick at fixing the boiler when it’s pressure dropped and we had no hot water."

There were quite a lot of flies in the house, which I guess is due to the proximity of cattle in the fields, but a wall mounted fly catcher might be an idea. Also, some form of drainage rack for the sink would be good, as washing up was a bit tricky.

  • "This cottage is beautiful and they really have thought of everything."

I also really love how they’ve taken peoples previous comments and now added the items in like a full length mirror and summer bedding. Just to say it’s not on the listing but their is a hairdryer and the tv has now tv/Netflix etc if you already have those accounts at home you can log into them there. Might be useful to know before hand. We had w lovely stay and the hot tub was the icing on the cake!!

  • "Whilst the property was excellent there were a few items missing which would have improved the stay, they are a corkscrew, egg cups,a butter dish and flower vase."

I also feel that not stating the the property was semi detached may upset some people we met the young man next door and found him very pleasant.

The hot tub was great. On arrival the was a bottle of wine, card wishing us a good holiday, milk coffee tea, and other extras which was a lovely touch. All 6 of us loved this place and area, location of bungalow was great 15mins from beach, pub, go karting etc. Bungalow very clean on arrival.

  • "The holiday accommodation was clean and lovely and very accurate, there was a lovely big hot tub which we used almost every day and the rooms were large and clean."

There was cake and bottled water and milk on arrival which was a nice touch. However there were a few things that we found disappointing. The main bugbear was the quilts on the beds all Being 10.5 tog and were very hot and all the mattress protectors were waterproof which made sleeping very hot and unbearable, there was no alternative bedding available or any sheets which we could have used instead of the winter quilts and with weather in the 20*c it was very sweaty. There were no full length mirrors or any mirrors in the bedrooms to get ready in the mornings which would have been nice. Lastly there were no tourists information leaflets on any walks, places of interest or anywhere to visit in the area which I think is paramount when you are away and have previously had lots of info & leaflets left from other places we have stayed. We had our grandson with us on this holiday and although there was a DVD player there were no DVDs to watch. Although the accommodation was very nice it was not a very child friendly or dog friendly and we never saw the owner our whole stay

hot tub was a nice way to wind down after sight seeing days out .
