  • "Spacious flat - and the best bit, it was so close to lovely peaceful beach."

Good facilities and everything that you willl require in the kitchen. Lounge and bedrooms not luxurious but neat, tidy and modern. No complaints - except that 3 months on, I wish I could go back.

  • "Position of apartment spot on for beach and town."

Apartment well kitted out. We had a great break, nothing else to say except ‘thank you’

  • "The accommodation could not have been in a better location, as avid beach and dog lovers it was fabulous for us with the beach right on our doorstep ."

  • "We had a lovely stay at 1 Glenvale."

The flat was even better than the photos and we were pleasantly surprised to find both Wi-fi and a dishwasher, neither of which were mentioned in the listing. The flat has been thoroughly renovated throughout so was extremely comfortable and really felt like a home away from home. We would be very happy to return in the future!

  • "Best thing is location !"

!! Signs in Flat (not cottage) asking for you not to make a noise because of the lady living above , but could here her felt like we had to sneak about !! like we said great location , but wouldn't stay in the flat again also hoover didn't work properly

  • "Horrible smell of damp and drains."

Cold on arrival. Kettle broken. Most crockery chipped. Needs updating throughout including hob. No mobile signal and mobile WiFi doesn’t work without a mobile signal of some kind. Generally very poor and will not return. Left detailed list in visitors book.

Thank you for your feedback. I do apologise that you experienced some issues during your stay. Please be advised that we take feedback on board and since your stay we have replaced the kettle and the crockery. We are also renovating the property which will include a new cooker and hob to ensure all of our future guests get the best experience. In regards to the phone signal, we do advise this online to state that phone signal is intermittent as we want all guests to have the correct information before their stay. I do hope this helps and i do hope to see you again at 1 Glenvale. Kind Regards. Property Owner

The property

This delightful, ground floor flat rests in the idyllic village of Saundersfoot, just a moment's walk from the beach and access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.

The property has been modernised and redecorated in the 2019-20 winter period and is open again for the pleasure of our guests.

Perfect for friends and family alike, 1 Glenvale is a lovely getaway for those who fancy exploring one of the most popular, Welsh holiday destinations.

After parking up directly in front of the property, you enter into the hallway, which leads you into bright and airy kitchen/diner equipped with a range of modern appliances and a dining table for four.

The kitchen offers a welcome pack and there are some basic supplies, including condiments, pasta, sauce, and puddings, should you arrive late.

Details of fast food and local pubs are also to hand in the information pack.

The adjacent lounge will welcome your return after a long day at the beach, complete with two sofas, an electric fire, TV and DVD player with a library of films on hand for you to enjoy.

There are two bedrooms at this Saundersfoot cottage: a double with ample storage and a twin with two full size single beds and storage.

The flat also benefits from a cot room, which is ideal for those travelling with babies.

To minimise what you have to bring, changing facilities, a highchair and a wooden cot are all provided for use.

Serving these bedrooms is the family bathroom with a shower over the bath and separate WC.

The hallway has a large storage cupboard for your bits and pieces during your stay and is equipped with useful household items such as airers, wash basket and pegs, iron and ironing board should you choose to use the washing machine and outside line.

Outside, the patio is split across two levels, providing pockets of sunshine for the patio table and chairs and a barbecue, which is perfect for those warmer afternoons.

The enclosed nature of the patio also makes this property ideal for guests with dogs or small children.

Stroll into the harbour village with its superb sandy beach, a walk along the wonderful coastal path or enjoy a browse in the quirky little shops.

Alternatively, just stop for afternoon tea, tuck into a meal or for those special occasions enjoy the hotel and spa overlooking the bay.

The town of Tenby is a few minutes' drive away where you can explore the narrow winding streets on foot or take a boat trip out to the monastic Island of Caldey, famous for its home-made, luxury chocolate.

With so much to see and do in this stunning part of Wales, and at the end of each day returning to this delightful holiday home from home will only add to your enjoyment.
