  • "We enjoyed our stay very much."

Stuart was very helpful on the run up to our arrival and checked with us when we arrived if everything was ok. The lodge was clean and beds were made which was nice. We would definitely stay there again.

  • "What a find!"

This place exceeded our expectations. Communication was excellent, the lodge is very comfy, homely and just a short walk through a wooded path to the sea. The lodge is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, very spacious and has everything you would need and more. Little things like USB plugs, Apple airplay on the TV and welsh cakes are a huge thumbs up from us. We are already planning our return stay, I think this sums up how highly we thought of Cwtch Lodge 42!

Spacious for ourselves and three children with a dog also. Nice to have towels provided in the past previous places we have stayed did not have this. Also felt supported that it we did have a problem maintenance would be around straight away. Luckily we didn’t. We would return.

  • "On the first day, we had an issue with the toaster not working."

I rang the owner by mistake who told me to ring the manager on site. I rang the manager and Stuart came immediately and lent us a brand new replacement toaster until he could find out what was wrong with the toaster as it was obviously not working. Five minutes later the manager came back to remove the brand-new toaster as he had been instructed by the owner that there was nothing wrong with the toaster we had and that we had to hold it in a certain way. We tried the way we were instructed to use it but it was hopeless and ridiculous as a toaster is easy to use, still could not get the toaster to work, Stuart the manager of the site was excellent and went out of his way to help us but unfortunately, he had to do as instructed. We went out and bought our own toaster. There were no books or DVDs in the lodge as stated and just the basic of items, no frills or luxuries. It is a beautiful lodge. We have stayed on this beautiful site for the past four years in a variety of lodges and have always been very happy with the standard provided. This was the first visit to this particular lodge and it will be our last.

  • "A pleasant location - well tended grounds - Pleasant Valley has a relaxing feel good environment."

Cwtch Lodge 42 was well presented and a joy to stay in - just a couple of points to draw one’s attention to - the third bedroom requires curtains! The lodges are a little to close to each other- hence privacy required! A few of the pots and pans are past their sell by dates! - need replacing. Overall 9/10 - a lovely lodge.

Only drawback was having to always drive to get morning papers, the 3 over 70`s do like to still have one!!! The only grumble was the weather, I would love to be there in the summer, it`s a beautiful place. Must also mention Stuart, he was always ready to pick up his phone if we had a query. Would definitely give Cwtch Lodge 42 5 stars.

  • "Booking was easy."

I was kept up to date with all information. I was contacted by the cleaning team for the lodge asking my requirements. We arrived at the lodge. The site is absolutely spotless. Lovely quite site. Well kept lawns. The lodge was spacious, very clean, comfortable and homely. All the beds made up. Towels provided. There was soap in both bathrooms and a toilet roll. It has central heating, only had put it on in the morning for an hour and the lodge stayed warm for the rest of the day. Added bonus was having a washer/dryer and dishwasher. Leaflets available at the lodge for all appliances. There is no shop or anything on the site, but I found it very central to travel to other places. We walked from Heritage park to Wiseman,s bridge then on to Saundersfoot. Very pleasant walk. I would definitely stay at Heritage park again and would highly recommend it to others.

  • "What a beautiful lodge, set within a well maintained, peaceful site."

Cwtch Lodge 42 was very well presented, clean and better than the photos shown. The interior was very spacious and the wrap around decking was perfect for those sunnier days to relax upon with a drink. The well equipped kitchen had everything you could need, with enough room to manoeuvre around whilst cooking with plenty of cupboard space for the little extras that you bring. The bedrooms themselves were very clean, fresh and most importantly had more than enough storage for your luggage. We spent a week here but had we stayed longer there would of been ample room to accommodate the extra clothing required. At night you could hear the sea crashing in the distance. A nice little walk to the beach takes around 15 minutes depending upon your stride, the path leads you straight from the park taking you to the beautiful Wisemans Bridge beach through woodland. With a smooth walkway for those with buggies, mobility scooters or wheelchairs. There are many pathways surrounding the park to choose from with stunning scenery and plenty of fresh, clean air. The park staff were friendly and very helpful making our week more enjoyable. A special thank you to Kevin who was the contact for Cwtch Lodge 42 and was on site and answered all enquiries we had. And to Stuart who made sure we were kept informed of everything. An exceptional Lodge set within a beautiful coastline that we highly recommend to all, we have sent photos and links to this place to family and friends throughout our stay. Thanks again to Kevin and Stuart.
