The property

A quaint cottage, on the edge of the rural village of Templeton, adjacent to the owner’s home and just a short walk from two village pubs.

The cottage is an ideal romantic retreat for couples looking to enjoy the local area, with fantastic walks, cycle trails and close to the beautiful beaches of Pembrokeshire.

Set all on the ground floor, there is one cosy bedroom with French doors onto the decking, with an adjacent shower room.

The open plan living area with a vaulted beamed ceiling provides a compact kitchen with everything to hand, an intimate dining area and plenty of space to stretch out on the comfy sofa whilst relaxing and watching TV.

Outside, you can sit on the raised decking area in the wildlife garden with naturally planted banks where you can enjoy an early morning coffee and perhaps plan your route for an afternoon spent walking the local fantastic countryside.

You are close to the popular market town of Narberth with its boutique style shopping and nearby Canaston Woods provides great walking in pretty mixed woodland, why not pick up the Knights' Trail, which passes through the woods, an old pilgrims route from Amroth to St Davids?

Alternatively take a trip to Llys-y-Fran Reservoir and Country Park, near to the stunning Preseli Hills, perfect for fishing, cycling, walking and just taking time to enjoy your surroundings.

You are ideally placed to explore the wonderful coastline of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park with an abundance of sandy beaches and pretty fishing villages being just 5.5 miles away, such as Amroth, Wisemans Bridge or Saundersfoot.

Maybe take a trip further along the coast to Tenby, enjoy wandering in the town walls, exploring the harbour or having a go at one of the many watersports.

Alternatively take a trip to St Davids, the tiny city with impressive cathedral; this picturesque city attracts pilgrims, surfers, independent artists and travellers alike.

Close to a popular market town, this cottage is ideal for couples looking to walk the undulating local countryside or enjoy the nearby sandy beaches, or perhaps just sit, relax and enjoy spending time together in the sunny garden.

Templeton is a small village which lies between Narberth and Tenby, two popular resorts in this area of South Wales. There is a fantastic village pub and also a welcoming wine bar with a restaurant if you fancy a night off from the cooking. Nearby is the bustling town of Narberth, a delight to discover with its many individual shops, including upmarket boutiques, specialist deli grocers and unique gift shops, and a wide choice of restaurants, bistros and pubs can be found in and around the town. Queen's Hall, Narberth's leading cultural and arts venue hosts a variety of concerts, plays and events, which can be enjoyed throughout the year. The whole of Pembrokeshire beckons with the harbour and seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot close by, visit secluded sandy beaches, such as the acclaimed Barafundle Bay for a quiet relaxing day, or take in an invigorating walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Several walking trails are accessible directly from the village.
