Location: Narberth

Tenby 10 miles.

The bustling town of Narberth, with its abundance of quirky shops, tea rooms and restaurants, is a delight to visit by day, and with many pubs and live bands playing at the Queens Hall, it is a great night out too. The whole of Pembrokeshire beckons, with the fantastic seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot close by, and isolated, unspoilt sandy beaches at Broad Haven and Barafundle for a quiet relaxing day in the summer or an invigorating walk in autumn and winter. There are boating trips to see the dolphins and the huge variety of bird life on the outlying island of Skomer, or white water rafting for the more adventurous. Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, Blackpool Mill and many more area attractions including Bluestone and its Blue Lagoon water park (the biggest indoor swimming pool, with wave effect, in Wales), make this a perfect base for a family holiday any time of the year.

Previous visitors' comments about Oak Lodge:

The setting was beautiful, it was just what we wanted to de-stress after the build up to our wedding.
Mrs Crowley, Bridgwater, November 2011

The accommodation was brilliant and so much more than we expected! The secluded hot tub on the decking was just wonderful for watching the stars at night and was very romantic. The kitchen was beautiful and well equipped and the general decor was just so nice. The location of the lodge gives you the choice of having a chill out holiday or an active get out there and explore holiday. The whole holiday was nothing short of perfect and the owners should be commended for their attention to detail and providing all the home comforts that you could possibly want. Oak Lodge is a 10 out of 10 holiday and we intend to return!
Mr Tonks, Gloucester, November 2011

My husband and I have just arrived home after a lovely anniversary break of one week at the Oak Lodge, Narberth. We had a very friendly welcome from the owner. The lodge itself is lovely and it is very spacious and decorated very tastefully, with all things matching! The rooms are laid out nicely, giving plenty of room to move about and I would say definitely suitable for disabled visitors too. Private sunken outdoor hot tub which was wonderful! After a day of trekking about it was lovely to sink down and pop on the bubbles for a little while. Nothing beats unwinding with a glass of wine, being able to see the stars and hearing an owl or two whilst relaxing in a hot bubbly bath! All in all I would highly recommended this accommodation to anybody.

Peaceful location but not completely isolated. Lovely hot tub and decking and our host was warm and helpful but not intrusive.
