The rural village of Kilgetty is situated just a short drive from the Pembrokeshire town of Tenby and offers a selection of shops and pubs, along with its own train station. Kilgetty is central to a number of attractions, with the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby nearby, offering fabulous beaches, watersports and boat trips to Caldey Island, the home of a small gathering of monks and their monastery. Also nearby is the award winning Folly Farm, which makes for a great family day out and enables you to see a working farm at its best. Oakwood Theme Park is a 10 minute drive away and boasts the biggest wooden rollercoaster in Europe, whilst the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline and the coastal National Park, a walker's paradise, are also within easy reach.

The Property

A cosy studio cottage offering simple and very comfortable accommodation, tucked under the owner’s home on the edge of the bustling village of Kilgetty, 5 miles from Tenby. Well decorated and furnished, with a welcoming feel, the cottage is set in very quiet surroundings, perfect for eating outside and relaxing after a busy day exploring everything Pembrokeshire has to offer. Choose from fantastic sandy beaches all around the coastline, the exciting Oakwood Theme Park, fabulous walks, and castles, mills and craft centres dotted around the area. This is an ideal Kilgetty cottage, perfect throughout the year for a holiday as busy or as relaxing as you wish.

All ground floor. Open plan studio accommodation with 1 x double bed, fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Shower room with shower, basin and WC.

The relaxing coastline/beaches and friendly local people with excellent pups/restaurants. Smithfield, is ideal accommodation for a couple wishing to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline. We found the owner was very friendly, weloming and attentive but not intrusive. We both enjoyed our week and would consider staying there in future.

The property was very clean and had everything you need for a good holiday. The location is also very good and the directions to the property were fantastic. The kitchen area is great for couples and the owner is a credit to Sykes, we will definitely use Sykes Cottages again.
