The town boasts a castle with its own museum, churches, an indoor market hall, good shops and a multitude of pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes. With abbeys, castles, mining museums and a Roman amphitheatre and baths at nearby Caerleon, there is something different to discover every day of your holiday.

Three lovely bedrooms all have magnificent views of the Sugar Loaf Mountain, so why not enjoy breakfast in bed to make the most of the stunning scenery. The same views can also be enjoyed while dining alfresco in the lawned garden and on a summer’s evening you are able to unwind after a day exploring this picturesque part of Wales. Enjoy walks from the doorstep along the nearby canal or venture up the mountains surrounding this superb Govilon cottage.
