This small Welsh village is scattered along the A48 road with a well-stocked shop with Post Office, two pubs, a golf course and a garden centre with a pleasant tea room. It is easily accessed from the motorway and is close to the larger town of Pontardulais and only 7 miles from the city of Swansea. The nearby Gower with all its beautiful sandy beaches and wonderful coastal walks is a fantastic location to visit all year round. The city of Swansea has so much to offer too - the shops, theatre, marina, water park and great rugby make it ideal for a family day out, while the Liberty Stadium with its sport and music concerts is only 6 miles away. A wonderful location all year round for a superb holiday.

Set in a lovely quiet location on the owner’s small farm with just open fields around and stunning views across to North Gower, this lovely, semi-detached Pontlliw cottage is a perfect base to discover this wonderful part of South Wales. The large kitchen with a superb cooking range is ideal for a Pontlliw self-catering cottage, so you can enjoy home-cooked meals together before relaxing in the lovely sitting room to take in the far-reaching views. A wonderful mountain walk leads directly from this Pontlliw cottage with spectacular views as far as the coast. The Gower with all its wonderful beaches - some offering great surfing - is just a short drive away, or why not enjoy the array of shops, a night out at the theatre or the Mediterranean feel at the marina in Swansea itself? Whether you stay close to this wonderful Pontlliw cottage or venture a little further to experience the dry ski slope and motor racing at Pembrey, walks around Pembrey Country Park, or the great horse race days at Ffos Las Racecourse, you will already be planning your return trip to this great cottage, long before your holiday ends.
