The pretty Sussex village of Pett is located between Rye and Hastings in a countryside setting, less than a mile from the coast. This lovely village offers two pubs both serving food, shops, a butcher's and many events. Adjoining the village of Fairlight and with the beaches at Winchelsea and Camber only a short distance away, Pett is the ideal choice for a family holiday. Why not take a trip to Battle and explore the Abbey and hear how William the Conqueror changed English history, or step forward to a little closer in time and enter Yesterday's World with all types of shopping and general living experiences from a bygone era before enjoying a delightful cream tea. Take a stroll along the cobbled streets of Rye, or bargain hunt at the weekly market, plus Rye harbour is just the place to pick up the catch of the day. If more of the coast is what you are after then the town of Hastings is just for you, with its Stade Gallery exhibiting all types of artwork and a funfair on the beach. Venture into the countryside where you will find Tenterden and Bodiam, which have a steam railway running between them, or visit Bodiam Castle and travel back by river boat. This part of Sussex has something for everyone of all ages and interests.

Decorated and furnished to a high standard, this Sussex cottage provides a master bedroom with a super king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, four further bedrooms and a main bathroom. The beautifully fitted kitchen with large centre island is a great place to prepare home cooked food before everyone gathers together in the dining room. The welcoming sitting room at this Sussex cottage has three sofas, which are perfect to sink into after a day on the beach. French doors from the sitting room lead out onto a decked area where you can dine alfresco, or if you are feeling more active you can play table tennis or have a full workout in the gym on the second floor. If all this exercise has increased your appetite, why not take a walk to one of the pubs in Pett, where you will also find a butcher and a shop with a Post Office.
