Cullenstown is a small village with a beautiful beach, and is home to the famous Shell Cottage, a pretty cottage entirely covered in shells. Conveniently situated a few minutes’ drive from Carrick-on-Bannow, also known as Carrick, renowned for its traditional music festival & sessions, and Duncormick, with its delightful thatched pub and scenic setting, Cullenstown has numerous unspoilt sandy beaches and beautiful rural walks within easy reach. Half an hour by car will take you to the cliff top village of Rosslare with its panoramic views over the coastline, the historic heritage town of Wexford with its narrow streets, world famous Opera House and quayside, and the port of New Ross, where you can experience life on an emigrant ship aboard the historic Dunbrody Famine Ship. The area is an ideal base for an action-packed holiday with great diving, angling, horse riding and coastal walks, or for simply touring this wonderful unspoilt part of Ireland.

Coastguard Court Cottages

These stone-built, architect-designed terraced cottages are situated around a quiet courtyard, on the edge of the village of Cullenstown, overlooking Ballyteige Burrow Nature Reserve, the Cull Estuary and The Saltee Islands, just 2 miles from the villages of Carrick and Duncormick, in County Wexford. Close to the coast, and to Cullenstown Beach, these cottages provide a great base for a seaside getaway, and with renowned local fishing, bird watching and horse riding available, they are perfect for those seeking total relaxation. Similar in appearance, these Wexford cottages differ on the inside; The Coach House is great for families and friends, with two double rooms, a lovely south facing sun room with sea views and French doors to a private garden, while Cosy Corner is a romantic base, featuring a double height ceiling in the sitting room, perfect for a couple's retreat. Visit some of the many historical sites and attractions within a short drive; discover the 12th century abbeys, Hook Lighthouse and JFK's ancestral home and arboretum, or enjoy a delightful ferry trip from Ballyhack Village to Waterford, famous for its crystal glass, before returning to one of these cottages for an enjoyable night in.

The larger of two Coastguard Court cottages available through Hogans Cottages, 2 miles from Carrick and Duncormick, County Wexford. The Coach House is a great base for families and friends to tour the area. This Cullenstown cottage is close to Ref 3929, and together they sleep 7.

Sitting room with large feature window to communal courtyard. South facing sun room with sea views and French doors to private patio and lawned garden.
