Curracloe is a popular tourist destination for both Irish and overseas visitors alike. The village hosts a shop, pub, and restaurant, so you need never leave during your stay! Take a 15 minute walk from the village and you will be rewarded by the breathtaking Ballinesker Beach, stretching for miles and best known for the dramatic opening scenes of the film, Saving Private Ryan. For a day out, why not visit the town of Wexford, where you can experience true Irish hospitality with a number of bars, restaurants and numerous retail outlets? A little further afield but within easy touring is the town of Enniscorthy, boasting a splendid Norman castle, which is home to the Wexford County Museum. Curracloe is easily accessible from the international ferry port of Rosslare and the ferry and airports of Dublin.

Curracloe 1 mile. A delightful detached house, in one of the most sought after holiday locations in Ireland, 1 mile from the village of Curracloe, County Wexford. The property boasts a lovely open plan living area, perfect for socialising in the evening after a full day touring or relaxing on the beach. French windows lead from the dining area out into a fully enclosed rear lawned garden, perfect for enjoying those long summer evenings with a glass or two of your favourite tipple! Just two minutes’ walk from the property you will discover Ballinesker Beach, one of the most famous in Ireland, stretching for miles. On a wet day the kids can be entertained in the amusement arcades at the beach, or for a day's touring why not visit Wexford? The town has a wealth of facilities available to visitors including a multiplex cinema, a swimming pool, leisure centre, Johnstown Castle and Gardens, numerous pubs, bars, restaurants and retail outlets. So whether you wish to stay in the village or travel a little further afield this Ireland cottage will provide the ideal base for a coastal break at any time of the year.
