For beach lovers, there are plenty of long sandy beaches within easy driving distance, whilst nearby Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city, is a lively city with great shops, restaurants, theatres, pubs and nightlife. The city also houses The Waterford Museum of Treasures and the House of Waterford Crystal. Nearby attractions include the Round Tower and St Declans Way at the village of Ardmore, the beautiful Mount Melleray Abbey at Cappoquin and St. Carthage’s Cathedral and Lismore Castle in Lismore. Also within easy driving distance are the many attractions of the “Premier County”, Tipperary, with its glorious scenery and historic monuments including the Rock of Cashel and Cahir Castle. Surrounded by the lovely Irish countryside, this Dungarvan cottage benefits from the tranquillity and beauty of nature, while the shops and amenities of Dungarvan are only a short drive away. This Dungarvan cottage is comfortably furnished and well decorated, and boasts quirky cottage features such as a steep cottage staircase and a bedroom with sloping ceilings tucked into the eaves. The conservatory with French doors leading to the patio and lawned garden is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a spot of breakfast in the early morning sun. For an enjoyable day try horse riding at the Knockmeade Stables, take a stroll through Colligan Woods, or wander along the harbour at Dungarvan. This Dungarvan cottage is great all year round.
