The lively town of Gorey in County Wexford has plenty to see and do. With restaurants and pubs to enjoy, and golf and fishing on offer, there is something for everybody. Take a walk through the Courtown Woods, enjoy a picnic by the Owenavarro River or take a trip to Courtown Harbour with its sandy beaches and record for the highest sunshine levels in Ireland. A short drive will take you to County Wicklow and the Wicklow Mountains National Park, while all the excitement of Dublin is only an hour's drive away.

Located three miles from the town of Gorey, this Wexford cottage has a country feel to it, with an abundance of amenities close by. Offering simple, well-equipped accommodation, this Wexford cottage is a perfect base for an Irish coastal holiday. Within walking distance, you will find the beach at Ballymoney, perfect to watch the sun set and an ideal spot for some sea angling, while way-marked walks can be enjoyed on Tara Hill, accessed approximately 10 minutes from the house. For a day’s touring, the towns of Enniscorthy and Wexford are within reach, both offering an abundance for the visitor, including museums, theatres and craft centres, and in true Irish style you will never be too far from a traditional Irish pub, offering world famous Irish hospitality and fayre. After a day on the beach, or visiting the nearby attractions, this Irish cottage will prove a welcoming retreat; enjoy the sunset from the garden or curl up in front of the woodburner. This cottage offers something for all at any time of the year.
