The small village of Campile, meaning 'head of the creek', lies 10 miles from the town of New Ross, in the south of County Wexford. Home to the famous Dunbrody Abbey ruins, the village of Campile attracts many guests to the Dunbrody Abbey visitor centre and impressive 1500 yew tree hedge maze, while the accompanying cookery school, open to the public, offers the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill while on holiday. Campile 3 miles. A charming detached cottage set on a working livestock farm, in an isolated position, close to the village of Campile in County Wexford. This delightful Campile holiday cottage has been decorated in a traditional style and boasts an abundance of character with lovely thick stone walls and exposed beams throughout. There are two sitting areas in this Campile cottage, one with an old style range and one with a cosy open fire, so after a day exploring the area, you can relax in wonderful surroundings. With three comfortable bedrooms, a ground floor wet room and a soothing Jacuzzi bath, this Campile cottage is bound to please. There is plenty to see and do in the area, including visits to the JFK Arboretum, Tintern Abbey and the Dunbrody Famine Ship in New Ross, plus the Hook Head Peninsula is well worth exploring. A terrific Campile holiday cottage, ideal for groups of friends or families, at any time of year.
