The delightful Yorkshire Dales village of Ingleton is situated at the junction of two rivers and is notable for its incredible natural beauty. There are waterfalls and walks in the area, plus the area is perfect for day trips to places of historical interest and natural attractions such as the North Pennines, Hadrian's Wall, the cathedral and shops at Durham, and even the city of Newcastle. Nine miles away is the wonderful Barnard Castle, and within driving distance are Bowes Museum, Raby Castle, and the towns of Middleton in Teesdale and Richmond. Ingleton is an ideal base for exploring this part of the country.
