Surrounded by spectacular, wide open countryside, Meadow Cottage is cosy and comfortable with a large open plan living area with original open roof trusses, two delightful bedrooms and a rear garden, a perfect spot in which to relax and enjoy views of animals grazing and the hills in the distance. A wonderfully peaceful location, the village is just 9 miles from historic Durham boasting a good range of amenities and great walking can be enjoyed in the surrounding area. The north-east coast with its sandy beaches is within driving distance as are universities, theatres, Hadrian's Wall and the Lake District. A lovely base for a well-earned, relaxing break.
