    • “Do not hesitate to book Paddock Barn”

    • “Unfortunately due to my hesitation in booking this property I could only book for one week instead of two. I was worried that if we did not like the property two weeks is a long time. From the photos I thought the house was on a main road it's not, the road has very little traffic mainly neighbors cars only. It is in Hilton a tiny little village and we drove past the turning a few times. Walking into the cottage we were immediately impressed it was almost like we were the first to stay there. It is large and modern. Cleaned to a high standard. The double bed in master bedroom was comfortable which I have to say is very unusual, I normally have to go out and buy a foam pad. I regularly rent houses in the north of England and this is the best I've experienced. The area is very quiet, the only noises are from the farm animals. Did not hear neighbors. Tesco's and Sainsburys about 5 miles away. No free wifi nil available. If you have any questions feel free to ask.”

The cottage had everything you could possibly need and so clean...wonderful. We have stayed in many holiday homes but this was one of the best. Lots of info of where to go and what to do”

    • “What a lovely place. We had all the comforts that we needed and more. We were partly snowed in during the time that we were there but we were able to relax and unwind, including spending time with our daughter and her family. The locals, including the owners, were lovely and made us feel welcome. We would definitely like to return in warmer times in order to walk some of the paths in the area.”

The surrounding countryside to our property was stunning and very peaceful. Definitely a great place for a rest or for a family with children, a great place to let them run free! The sheep in the fields were very cheeky!”

    • “We had a fantastic time, the Barn became a home from home with all the things you expect and some you don't such as the sheer size. One of the best aspects was being able to sit and enjoy an early morning coffee whilst looking at the views from the kitchen.”

    • “Paddock barn was one of the best cottages we have stayed in. 10 out of 10. A home from home that accommodated all the family. The owners had thought of everything. Set in a lovely quiet road with just a few houses. It was our first visit to the area and we hadn't realised how lovely it was. Lots to do and places to visit. Good walking area too. Have no problem in recommending Paddock Barn to our family and friends. First class.”
