Location: Low Row Near Reeth

Reeth 3 miles; Hawes 11 miles.

A hillside scattering of traditional farms and cottages make up the pretty village of Low Row situated to the north of the River Swale. A delightful area with magnificent countryside and stunning views of the valley and surrounding fells. The village of Reeth just a short drive away dates back to Saxon times and became of sufficient size and importance to be mentioned in the Domesday Book. Later it became a centre for hand-knitting and local lead mining. Its eighteenth-century houses and hotel clustered around the triangular village green make it one of the very popular Dales villages. Askrigg better known to millions as Darrowby in TV's James Herriot's "All Creatures Great and Small" is just a short drive away as well as Aysgarth Falls, Semerwater and Hardraw Force (England's highest single drop waterfall at 99ft).

A delightful property in a beautiful setting!
Mrs Haworth, Bolton, April 2012

Well appointed, cosy accommodation. We couldn't get out much due to the weather but the cottage was nice enough to stay in and relax!
Miss Riley, Sale, December 2011

Peaceful, relaxing and a beautiful place to do as much or as little as you choose.
Mrs Hunt, Lincoln, November 2011

A faultless property in a beautiful quiet location. There are walks from the door and there is good food in local pubs. We couldn't ask for more.
