  • "We had a lovely stay at Eldwick Villa, it's a beautiful house in a stunning location."

We especially enjoyed our walks to Baildon Moor & into Saltaire. Our hosts had everything covered going above & beyond what was expected. Can also 100% recommend a trip to The Dick Hudsons, but make sure you book in advance & the industrial Museum in Bradford is also well worth a visit. Would happily stay here again & was sad to be leaving.

Villa was fab and hot tub superb, we would defo stay again if we were to visit the area. Thank you. Xx

Thank you for your feedback. We apologise if 7 toilet rolls and a tea towel were not sufficient for the 2 nights you stayed with us? So glad you enjoyed your overall time at the Villa. Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely family get together."

Everybody had a good time. The house was wonderful with everything we needed already there. The hamper was a unexpected extra as was the beers and wine in the bar area. The hot tub was well used as was the games room and turtle spotting in the pond was enjoyed by the grandchildren. The area was great, Ponderosa Zoo wasn't far away and was the right size and a gd day out for our young family. Food at the Brown Cow and The Potting Shed in Bingley was very nice, we even walked back from Bingley one night, don't do it in heels though as it's a long uphill walk! The park next to The Birches was also a great hit. Ilkley was a short drive away with a good walk over the moors and a lovely town to mooch around with shops, riverside and good play area. We would definitely come again and no hesitation to recommend.

  • "We had a lovely stay but felt there were a few things we would comment on."

Some occasional tables in the lounge would be useful. The water in the en suite shower did not drain away properly which made it slippery and stagnant water was left there. Although the distance of the pubs was accurate maybe alert people to how hilly the area is, my elderly mother was unable to walk there. These are a few little things that would have made our great holiday a fabulous one.

Thank you for taking your time to leave some feedback about your recent trip to Eldwick Villa. I will be taking your feedback on board in regards to some tables in the lounge and will get some put into the property, if i had known I would have been able to get some straight away for you as we are always contactable for any issues that you have. We have never had a problem with the shower before and we do supply a rubber shower mat to ensure that the shower does not get slippy to ensure that we keep guests safe. As the property is in Yorkshire the roads are not flat but they are not at steep inclines, just not as flat as you would get in a City but it is just due to the location of the property. In addition to this, all five keys were found left in the doors internally, despite leaving clear instructions to leave back in the specified area. This resulted in having to get a locksmith to the property. Property Owner

  • "The property is lovely, clean and really modern."

The outside area is really nice and we were lucky enough to have nice weather. However, we followed the rules, were in by 10pm so we did not disturb neighbours and still received an email about antisocial behaviour. It dampened the mood then as we were paranoid to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sun. Some of use left a night early due to this. But the property itself was really nice.

Thank you for your feedback on your stay. We've not had this issue before, so the neighbours informed us that there was noise at 1am and we made contact to let you know that this may have caused some disturbance to them in the early hours. We made it clear on booking about noise levels and it's great to see that you enjoyed the property too. Property Owner

  • "We had a great time staying at Eldwick."

The area is gorgeous and the top deck calls you to spend all day hanging out. I really appreciated the full kitchen and amenities making it easy for us to prepare meals. There was unseasonably hot conditions and they brought us a small AC unit and a fan to help move the air around which helped keep the bedroom areas a bit cooler at night. The downstairs was a great hangout for the 5 kids we had with us to relax and watch movies.

  • "A fabulous stay in a stunning and fun house."

It’s incredible when you first see the location and think it might be too close to Bradford if you want peaceful countryside, but when you arrive you realize it is peaceful, surrounded by stunning countryside and yet a stones throw from both bingley and Bradford if you want shops and restaurants etc. Some beautiful walks nearby, we loved the walking quiz in bingley, but beautiful views, peace and the stunning river are all so close by as well as great bike rides too (as long as you can handle the inclines!) all round a perfect stay with friendly, attentive hosts who communicated brilliantly. Thank you so much!

We was there for the kings coronation and they put decor and themed straws which was a lovely touch. The hot tub and outdoor area is lovely, just have to be mindful of neighbours but it is a lovely stay to relax. The bar/social area downstairs was fab for at night time. Lynsey and Ryan were very helpful and were a call away if needed. They gave us a welcome hamper filled with necessaities (Bread, Tea, Milk. Etc.) which we thought was a sweet touch. They also met us at check in which was also really lovely, they gave us a nice welcome and overview. Loads of games and toys for the family and the kids, we made definitely made use of that. They have a bar which had complimentary drinks in too, very thoughtful. The balcony was clean and fully furnished, with a hot tub and a swing. The hot tub was working perfectly and there was no issues with that. Only thing we would have preferred was a little more privacy or an option for more privacy, as people on the road could see us. But apart from that was a lovely stay and we were well looked after.

The house was very comfortable and clean and the layout was perfect. The hosts, Lynsey & Ryan, were lovely. They kept in contact and gave suggestions for meals out which was much appreciated. Two wee suggestions for future guests - a torch as no street lights so letting dog out at night was difficult, also I struggled to find plug points in our bedroom (king size with fireplace) so an extension cable which could reach dressing table would’ve been great.
