Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Traditional stone cottages and shops are clustered around the cobbled market place, offering exceptional shopping facilities for a village of this size, with a monthly farmer’s market offering a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce. Situated on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods to the north of the village, this is a superb walking area. Down dale is Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous “Strid Walk”. A little further is the elegant town of Ilkley, overlooked by the famous Ilkley Moor. Up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery. With many other beauty spots scattered throughout Wharfedale, Grassington provides a great base for exploring the local area and all that the Dales have to offer, with Brontë Country and York also being within easy motoring distance.

The surrounding area is a walker's paradise, offering beautiful walks along the river to Linton Falls, as well as more challenging walks into the nearby hills. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Free parking in village square 100 metres from studio (guests can pull up outside property to load/unload). Rear patio with garden furniture (shared with first floor studio). One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop & pub 1 min walk. Note: Property is accessed via one step.

A quality studio let, with lots of little extras. A very comfortable cottage, lovely super king-size bed, tastefully furnished and decorated. A very enjoyable break in a lovely village. We parked the car and were able to leave it until the end of our break. Great walking country and good pubs in the village.

We loved the internal décor of the property. Grassington is a beautifully quaint little village with cobbled streets and loads of lazy amenities like a chippy, an Indian take away plus of course a few pubs.
