The ground floor consists of a small but well-equipped kitchen, an adjoining shower room, spacious dining room and a cosy lounge with feature fireplace.

The lower ground floor offers a good sized bedroom with double bed, a small cloakroom and a private staircase to the front of the house.

Upstairs, the first floor offers three comfortable bedrooms with a separate shower room and a cloakroom with basin and WC.

The spacious top floor bedroom, boasting a good view across the town to the nearby hills provides an ideal dual purpose family room, with a double and a single bed, and with a small sitting area including a single sofa bed for a child up to ten years old, this is a great place for the kids to chill out, play on the PlayStation and listen to music, while the parents relax downstairs.

With the many delights of Skipton on the doorstep, this is a cottage for all the family to enjoy, whatever the time of year.

Skipton offers independent shops and welcoming pubs, while the ancient castle is worth a visit.

Enjoy a round or two at Skipton Golf Club, or take a steam train ride on the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, just a mile away.

The main canal basin is just a short walk and is a great place to sit with award-winning fish and chips and watch the narrow boats slip idly by.

Aireville Park is ten minutes' walk away, offering a play area, golf, tennis courts and a swimming pool, or enjoy moorland walks at Bolton Abbey, the mouthwatering farmers' market at Grassington, the Bronte Country of Haworth or visit elegant Harrogate - all within easy reach.

About the location

SKIPTON

Grassington 9 miles; Harrogate 20 miles.

Known as “The Gateway to the Dales”, Skipton is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy motoring distance. This lovely market town has much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street. In 2008 the Academy of Urbanism voted the High Street the best shopping spot in Britain, and The Copper Dragon/Greyhawk Brewery is highly rated in the CAMRA listings. Steam railways with regular excursions are available at Embsay and Bolton Abbey, and the Leeds to Liverpool Canal passes through Skipton with the 1 mile long Foulridge Tunnel and the 5-rise locks at Bingley within a short travel.
