A charming, stone-built, mid-terrace cottage, just a short stroll from Skipton’s award-winning high street.
This lovely cottage is one of the oldest buildings in the town, part of the original Coaching House that served the old market town and is an ideal base for a romantic holiday.
The cottage is delightfully cosy, retaining much of the charm of the original house, with those little nooks and crannies and original features that all combine to provide a lovely experience.
The accommodation comprises a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare romantic meals before adjourning to the dining area in the snug sitting room which features a stone and brick fireplace with gas stove, old ceiling beams and exposed stonework.
There is a spacious master bedroom with a super king-size bed (can be twin on request) and a lovely modern shower room, which all go together to provide a great place to stay, relax and unwind from the stresses of modern day living.
This attractive cottage provides a great base to indulge in the many delights of the famous town of Skipton, voted in 2014 by the Sunday Times as “The Best Place To Live In Great Britain”.
A short stroll takes you to the medieval castle, one of the oldest in the country and the lively canal basin.
Not to be missed is the fabulous four day market which is set out down the entire length of the main high street and the many excellent pubs and restaurants of this lively and interesting town.
It is just a short drive to the wonderful moorland walks at Bolton Abbey and onto Grassington with its local farmers' markets, beautiful stone buildings, quirky shops and friendly pubs and the famous limestone formations at Malham Tarn, are just a few of the many delights of this popular area.

Grassington 9 miles; Harrogate 20 miles.
Known as “The Gateway to the Dales”, Skipton is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy motoring distance. This lovely market town has much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street. In 2008 the Academy of Urbanism voted the High Street the best shopping spot in Britain, and The Copper Dragon/Greyhawk Brewery is highly rated in the CAMRA listings. Steam railways with regular excursions are available at Embsay and Bolton Abbey, and the Leeds to Liverpool Canal passes through Skipton with the 1 mile long Foulridge Tunnel and the 5-rise locks at Bingley within a short travel. Golf, swimming, squash, tennis and snooker are all available locally and the excellent public transport means the car can be left at home!
