Dominated by its large market square, which still boasts a lively Friday market, the bustling town of Leyburn is known as the 'Gateway to Wensleydale', with beautiful views from its western edge across the Dale. The town has much to offer with its many craft shops, galleries and tearooms. There are many lovely walks for all abilities in this beautiful area, as well as delightful villages to explore. Also within easy reach are many other attractions, notably the Constable Burton Hall Gardens with extensive parkland and woodland walks, the Forbidden Corner with its underground passages to explore, and of course the lovely Georgian town of Richmond with its fine castle ruins.

The Property: Dale Grove

A newly built mid-terraced house, set on a quiet housing development on the outskirts of Leyburn, just 10 minutes walk from the market square. Stone built, the property is finished to a high standard and tastefully furnished throughout, offering warm and welcoming accommodation with a light and airy feel. An ideal base from which to explore the surrounding Dales and perfect for enjoying Leyburn with the town centre just a short walk away, offering a variety of places to eat and drink.

Three bedrooms: 1 x double with ensuite shower-room (shower, basin and WC), 1 x twin (2'6 beds), 1 x adult sized bunk beds (small room, ideally suited to children). Bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Additional downstairs cloakroom with basin and WC. Modern, well equipped kitchen with breakfast table and door to rear garden. Separate dining room. Sitting room with coal effect gas fire and patio door to rear garden area.

Amenities

Full gas central heating with additional heating from coal effect gas fire in sitting room. Electric oven (gas hob), microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, colour TV, video, stereo/CD etc. All fuel and power inc in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot, highchair & stairgate on request. Private parking space for one car, additional roadside parking. Small lawned front garden, sheltered enclosed rear garden with lawn and small patio area with garden furniture. Sorry no smoking or pets. Pubs, shops etc 10 mins walk.

The property was exactly as it was presented on the website with many extras that we weren't expecting - books, games, etc. It was clean and comfortable to come back to at the end of the day and there was plenty of information on the property's appliances, etc. and the surrounding area.

Dale Grove was perfect for our needs. It was centrally located on a quiet estate with good access to shops and the surrounding area. The property was very well kept with good information provided at the property regarding the use of equipment etc.
