Warkworth has its own stretch of sandy beach and a 9 hole 'pay and play' golf course. Also within easy touring distance are Hadrian's Wall, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, the Farne Islands, several wonderful beaches and the newly opened Alnwick Garden with its remarkable water cascade.

The sandy beaches and picturesque villages of the Heritage Coast are within easy drive, as is the impressive scenery of the National Park, while proximity to the amenities and attractions of Alnwick mean Swallows Cottage is an ideal base at any time of the year.
