  • "Very comfortable house with everything you need."

Janet is an extremely good host. We will be back.

Hi, thank you for your kind feedback. It would be lovely to welcome you back to the house for return visit, Janet Property Owner

  • "Overall a nice house in an excellent location with good parking, equipment and facilities."

It was ideal for our requirements. The only issues we had was lack of heating in the kitchen and would have preferred a larger and thicker quilt on the bed.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that there were a couple of things that were not satisfactory for your stay and I appreciate any feedback that will make people's stay at the house more comfortable. There is a heater in the kitchen situated in the plinth to the right of the oven. Instructions for using are in the visitors handbook. I'm aware that the kitchen can be cold and that the heater is not as obvious (as a radiator)so I'll now put some written instructions actually in the kitchen, which should help. In the bottom cupboard in the front bedroom is a heavier double duvet and some blankets (also spare bedding and towels for your use). I'll put a notice on the cupboard to indicate that there is spare bedding etc there for visitors use. Property Owner

  • "Enjoyed our stay, one slight problem we had was the gate was blowing all over the place overnight when the wind took hold of it."

we managed to tie it back, problem solved! although it could do with a more permanent solution. Other than that, everything was great.

Hi, thank you for your feedback, I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay and that all was good for you in the house. I must apologise for the gate blowing . I'll be sorting it (probably replacing it) when I go to the property later this week. Regards, Janet Property Owner

It has everything needed for a home away from home. A lot of thought has gone in to what families may need for a holiday property. We had a fabulous time and the neighbours were lovely. Its so nice to be made to feel welcome, both inside the property and out.

It was too heavy for us to carry it down to clean down stairs areas. There is no proper handrail this makes it difficult for older people.

  • "We thought the property was spotless."

Easy to reach the sea front My only negative was it was cold when we arrived in the house and felt like no heating had been for a while. The bedding was as if it was the middle of summer, I understand that is how some people might like it, so we had to start to look another blanket or quilt...

Hi. Thank you for your feedback, I do like to know when things are not satisfactory for my visitors. I do aim to get the house warm in advance of visitors arriving and am really sorry the house was not as warm as you would have liked it when you arrived. There are fleecy blankets provided for all beds available as additional covers - do you feel more are needed? Property Owner

It was nice to have buckets and spades we could use. It saved a bit of car space. The cottage is about 15 minutes from the beach when walking and it was a lovely walk in the evenings down to the sea front. Very handy for other attractions, Bugtopia being a short walk from the cottage too and most places only half an hour drive away.
