The castle is over 900 years old, and contains fascinating examples of architecture while below it, the Linney Riverside Park offers boats for hire, a putting green and children's play area. Within easy reach of Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Hereford, as well as popular attractions such as Ironbridge Gorge, Severn Valley Railway, Berrington Hall and Cardingmill Valley, Ludlow is a superb destination for a relaxing break.

The spacious living room has a woodburning stove in an attractive feature brick fireplace, while the kitchen/diner has slate flagged flooring, exposed beams and a door out to the pretty sun trap courtyard garden - the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. Ludlow itself is a popular destination, with its historic castle, street markets and craft festivals. A superb base for a break.
