The owners were friendly, helpful and relaxed. We felt we had stumbled across an area of the country we didnt know well and here were fantastic views, great walks, lovely towns and a warm cottage with open fires to come back to. We thorougly enjoyed our stay and would use Sykes again.

A lovely homely cottage set in wonderful views. A feeling of being outside at the same time as being inside with the fantastic french windows overlooking gorgeous countryside view. Cosy and romantic with the log fire burning. A paradise for horse lovers as there were horses outside the French windows.

Peace and solitude; feeling of complete security; open fire in sitting room; no interference from the owners, but were available if required, plus an initial brief visit from the owner to make sure everything was all right. Third visit and it won't be our last.
