Mar 2008 | The peacefulness that we had at the cottage. Although the owners were on site and were very helpful we were not pestered at all.
As a location for dog owners, this was probably one of the best places that we have stayed where the dogs could be taken out without needing to walk on roads.
Mr Barber, Durham, Durham
Sep 2007 | Everything about the cottage was superb. Excellent high standards in all aspects of contents. Cleaned to high standards. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating to us and the home made cake on arrival was just what we needed to go with a good old cuppa. We had a very pleasant & enjoyable stay in Grouse Cottage and are already planning to book it again next year.
