May 2008 | The cottage is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in.The views from the cottage were tremendous. The external furnishings were really unusual and added to the external views of the property.

May 2008 | We all had a fabulous week at The Arches. I have never seen so many changes of scenery in one week from 4ins of snow to clear blue skys then blizzard conditions. The highlight was seeing the new born lambs from the kitchen window less than 25 meters! All had twins and it was great watching them take their first wobbly steps! Great base to travel to Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby - recommend both the Magpie and Trenchers for fish and chips - restaurant style. We will definitely be going back. Thank you Lee.
