The area is a paradise for coastal walkers with numerous high cliffs and sea bird colonies while the Celtic attractions of the land of myth and legend toward Land's End and the far west are all within easy reach. The perfect location for exploring the many and varied delights of fascinating Cornwall.

The Property: Chapel Barn

A charming, detached, high quality Grade II listed barn conversion in the village of Mitchell near Newquay. Built of stone and cob it has an air of relaxed elegance and offers a wealth of original features including vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. Situated in the grounds of the main house Chapel Barn provides a perfect base for exploring the area's many delights. Ride the waves on nearby Newquay's Fistral beach, sample the shops, walk the coast path across the cliff tops or take in one of the area's many theme or adventure parks. After a hard day's exploring there's a fabulous country pub and restaurant just 100 yards from your holiday home. An ideal location!

Accommodation

Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Ground floor bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Fitted kitchen. Sitting/dining room with coal effect electric fire.

Amenities

Gas fired central heating throughout with additional heating from coal effect electric fire in sitting room. Gas cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, colour TV, DVD player with surround sound etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample roadside parking. Shared use of lawned garden area with garden furniture. Sorry no smoking and no pets. Shop 2 miles, pub 100 yards.

We loved staying at Chapel barn, and would definitely stay there again. The owners were lovely, and very helpful. The pub up the road was a definite bonus, with excellent food!!

The accommodation was absolutely superb and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody. It was also in a fantastic position for exploring Cornwall, very central. The owner was extremely helpful and we couldn't have wished for any better service. We can't wait to go back!
