The delightful hamlet of Penhallow sits on the coast road between Newquay and Redruth. Rolling countryside, flower-filled hedges, quiet country pubs, majestic coastal scenery, great beaches nearby and a wealth of visitor attractions make this area a popular holiday destination. Sample the shops in beautiful Truro, wander the coastal path, ride the waves or sand yacht on Perranporth beach. Visit the local cider farm or try the attractions of Newquay Zoo, the Eden Project and the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth - all less than a 40 minute car ride. In the evening the local village pub is a short stroll from your door - holiday heaven.

The Property: Wishing Well Cottage

A delightful detached cottage, situated in the hamlet of Penhallow, 2.5 miles from Perranporth. Skilfully converted by the owners, the property has been furnished and modernised to a very high standard with meticulous attention to detail. Wishing Well Cottage makes a bright and cheerful holiday home, with a delightful enclosed garden and marvellous views over the surrounding fields. Perranporth and the local beaches are minutes away while Truro and the area's many visitor attractions are easily reached by car. Explore the wealth of country lanes and local footpaths, visit the nearby cider and ice cream farms, or just relax in the beautiful countryside.

Accommodation

Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin and extra folding bed on request. Ground floor bathroom with bath, separate power shower cubicle, basin and WC. Modern well equipped kitchen, with dining area. Spacious, light and airy living room.

Amenities

Oil fired central heating. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, colour TV, video, DVD etc. Fuel and power inc. in rent April to September. Fuel supplement of £15 pw payable to owners on arrival October - March. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate available. Off road parking for two cars. Lawned garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Two well behaved dogs welcome. Sorry no smoking. Shop 2 miles, village pub 2 mins. Note: There is a well outside the property which has been sealed. Note: There is a minor road 50 yards away.

The owners were very nice. The location was great and gave a feeling of privacy. I found the cottage to be a real surprise - it was bigger than indicated!

Nice garden- great for young children and dogs. Horses and pigs nearby- very interesting for young children. All in all a very pleasant accommodation. We will come again!
