ASHBOURNE

Lying at the southern end of the Peak District, Ashbourne is a perfect example of an English market town - market place with stalls, eccentric street plan, narrow cobbled alleys, coaching inns and almshouses. In its heyday in the 18th Century, the town was a fashionable social centre and many fine Georgian buildings remain from this period. Today the town still has much to offer in terms of restaurants and inns and is regarded as something of a haven for antique hunters - but don't expect a bargain! For those who prefer more outdoor pursuits, the Dove and Manifold Valleys are closeby. Alton Towers is just 20 minutes away.

DOVE VIEW APARTMENTS

Ashbourne 1 mile. Two outstanding apartments, situated in the wing of a charming converted hostelry in the hamlet of Mayfield, just outside the market town of Ashbourne. Decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout, both properties offer excellent accommodation, including en-suite facilities, beamed ceilings and enclosed outside spaces, ideal for enjoying a glass of wine after a day spent exploring the area. A wonderful base for those wishing to enjoy this beautiful corner of the Derbyshire Dales, visitors will find the Dove and Manifold Valleys and Alton Towers a short drive away, not to mention the amenities of Ashbourne, and the countless other pretty villages and towns scattered around the area.

The Property: Dove View The Peaks

A superb first floor apartment in the hamlet of Mayfield, 1 mile from Ashbourne. Finished to a high standard, this apartment features a light and airy open plan living area with attractive beamed ceiling and en-suite facilities to one of the bedrooms. The enclosed rear garden is the ideal spot for those sunny evenings, and the property is in an excellent location for exploring the attractions, cycle trails and footpaths of the area as a whole. Note: Dove View, The Peaks can be booked with Ref. 1784 Dove View, The Dales to accommodate up to 8 people.

Accommodation

All first floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with ensuite (bath, separate shower, basin and WC), 1 x twin with ensuite (shower, basin and WC). Open plan living area accessed by 4 steps, with stylish fitted kitchen with beamed ceiling, dining area and sitting area.

Amenities

Full gas central heating throughout. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD, radio, stereo/CD player etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Enclosed garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Off road allocated parking for two cars. Sorry, no pets or smoking. Shops and pub 2 minutes walk. Please note there are only 2 steps to climb from car park to apartment entrance.
