| Previous Visitors' Comments | An ideal location for a walking holiday. The owners were very helpful. We were especially grateful that they gritted the farm track where necessary when it was icy.
Mrs Farrer, Stockport, Greater Manchester
Jan 2009 | The cottage was superb and the owners available if required but not invasive. Their willingness to share controlled access to the pets and farm animals, with our grand children, was the icing on the cake. We will definitely visit again. I only wish I had a kitchen the same at home, it was a delight.
Mrs Morgan, Presteigne, Powys
Oct 2008 | Peace and quiet. The owners were very welcoming. It was very well positioned just off A66, yet remote at the same time- great!

Sep 2008 | Our second visit to Swinholme Cottage and again we particularly liked this lovely cottage and the beautiful surrounding countryside. We had grandchildren with us and found there was always something interesting and enjoyable to do whatever the weather, such as walking and waterfalls, visiting castles and lead mines, and hiring bikes in Hammsterley Forest.
Mr Wilson, Chinnor, Oxfordshire

Nov 2007 | An excellent place to stay. Close enough to good transport links and towns but secluded enough to "get away from it all".
