Previous Visitors' Comments
House a great size, in one of the most spectacular areas we have ever visited. Lovely village with many good pubs! The Black Bull especially, having it's own microbrewery was an added bonus.

Excellent house for a large group - games room was very good.

The house was really big. The children loved the games room leaving the adults to cook in the massive kitchen. Having so many bathrooms was fantastic, no waiting for the showers.

Excellent property in a beautiful location - great for large groups.

The house was a very good size for the amount it slept - considering that there was 21 of us, we had loads of space and the games room was handy too in the poor weather. It was in a good location and had some nice views of the lake from parts of the house. I would recommend Shepherds Villa to anyone for a family get together. We would use it again.

Ideal for our group of 22 including 3 toddlers and 2 teenagers due to the large space and games room. A good location (near shops, pubs, garage, etc). The kitchen is ideal for preparing meals for a large group.
Mr Clements, Liverpool, Merseyside

The size of the house was exactly what we needed. The games room in the basement was a great plus and the number of rooms that were en-suite was great. The local pubs were excellent, especially the Yewdale and the Ship Inn who proved to be excellent hosts and provided superb meals for all of us at short notice.
Mrs Craggs, Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire

Fantastic stay - so convenient for the village but you felt like you were in the middle of a field! We had 12 people stay and were not sure if it would work but it was a dream. Pool table was a huge help on the days it was to grotty to go out - and kept us out of the pub!
