There were 15 of us there for my wedding. The cottage was amazing. We couldn't believe the size of the property and the fact that it was all ours. You never found yourselves falling over each other and the bedrooms were very large. The cottage exceeded all our expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Wish the house was mine.

Great place for large groups to gather. Big enough for the children to have their own space. Lovely to be able to walk into Coniston.

It was perfect for our large family group. I would not hesitate to visit again and would recommend this to any large party. The games room is ideal for teenagers and it was nice to have 2 lounges. The heating was great along with a lovely log fire.

The house is in a perfect and beautiful location for exploring Coniston and the surrounding areas with everything on your doorstep. We loved the walk down by Coniston Water to the Bluebird café. Grizedale forest, which is nearby, was perfect for entertaining teenagers and young at heart adults. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday and would recommend Shepherds Villa (or even return ourselves one day).
