The local town of Attleborough offers a wide variety of shops, whilst Wymondham and Diss, both about 12 miles away, boast some impressive buildings plus galleries and antique shops. The local villages and towns provide a range of facilities, including Snetterton, which holds regular motor racing meetings and its own weekend market and Banham with its famous zoo. The city of Norwich is within easy reach with extensive shopping, dining and night life, whilst the Broads and the north Norfolk coast await a day's outing.
