May 2008 | The cottage was an excellent base for exploring this part of Yorkshire. There are plenty of good pubs that serve excellent food. The weather was very kind to us on our break and we were able to explore Whitby and its coast line to a good degree. The garden centre opposite the cottage does an excellent cherry pie and ice cream that you can enjoy sat by the river.
