The pretty village of Llwyngwril rests quietly at the edge of the river Gwril, nestling between the splendour of the Snowdonia Mountains and the stunning golden beaches of the Cardigan Bay coastline. With its 16th Century church, pleasant pub, well reputed Gallery Cafe and picturesque riverside setting, it offers excellent walks and boasts a variety of wild flowers and many species of birds that flock to the area's sheltered beaches and rock pools. Take a trip on the narrow gauge railway from the nearby beautiful sandy beach at Fairbourne, to the sweeping sand dunes at Barmouth. Discover the renowned towns of Dolgellau and Aberdovey, and visit the magnificent sights of medieval Harlech Castle and the Snowdonia National Park, all within a short drive. With plenty to see and do, this is a fantastic holiday location for all the family.

A lovely, modern detached house, just a 2 minute stroll from the pretty riverside village of Llwyngwril, situated between the beautiful Cardigan Bay coastline and the Snowdonia Mountains. Decorated and furnished to a high standard, the property provides spacious, contemporary accommodation, boasting a delightful sitting room with French windows, leading to a pretty patio area ideal for al fresco dining, along with three light and airy bedrooms, two of which are ensuite, and one having a delightful four poster bed. Picturesque riverside and mountain trail walks can be enjoyed nearby, along with fantastic climbing, surfing and cycling opportunities. Visit Fairbourne, with its 2 mile stretch of golden sands and narrow gauge railway or explore the towns of Dolgellau and Aberdovey, all within easy reach. A perfect holiday base at any time of the year.

Three bedrooms: Ground floor: 1 x double with ensuite (bath with shower over, basin and WC). First floor: 1 x double with four poster bed, 1 x twin with ensuite (shower, basin and WC). First floor bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Ground floor WC and basin. Fitted kitchen with breakfast area. Utility room. Spacious sitting room with dining area, electric fire and French windows leading to rear patio.

Full central heating with additional heating from pebble-style electric fire in sitting room. Electric double oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 1 x colour TV, 1 x DVD, stereo/CD player etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars, free public car park for extra cars 2 mins walk from property. Enclosed, lawned front garden with bench, rear patio with garden furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk, beach 5 mins walk.

No.2 Old Victory House was a fantastic cottage which felt like home from home with it being fully equipped for every occasion. With great views of the beach, whilst being situated in a quiet village, a short drive away were the larger towns which had plenty to do. The weather was fantastic all week and watching the sun set across the horizon whilst sitting on the beach made this Valentine's week treat even more special.

The house was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and had a real holiday feel to it. The location was excellent for the park, beaches and had pony trekking a couple of miles away.

The house was beautiful, spacious, modern and in immaculate condition. The location was lovely, close to the beach, local pub and there was even a small enclosed park opposite which was perfect for our little boy. On the whole, it was a beautiful house in a quiet, picturesque area and we found the holiday very enjoyable and relaxing.
