Situated at the mouth of the River Parrett and Bridgewater Bay, the popular seaside resort of Burnham on Sea is just 4 miles away. With views across to distant Wales and 7 miles of sandy beaches and dunes, the town also boasts Britain's shortest pier and some of the most distinctive lighthouses around, as well as the marble carvings of Sir Christopher Wren in its parish church. The Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Weston Super Mare, ancient Glastonbury and the cathedral city of Wells are all within easy driving distance. Explore the local Somerset Levels and wetland areas, a haven for wildlife and providing many nature reserves, excellent walks and cycle ways, right from the doorstep. Burnham on Sea is 4 miles away, with its beautiful beaches, array of lighthouses and what is thought to be Britain's shortest pier! Visit the attractions at nearby Wookey Hole and the Cheddar Gorge, whilst historic Glastonbury, with its ancient Pagan monastery and world famous festival, is within a 15 minute drive. A unique property, providing a holiday destination to savour! Accommodation Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x single accessed from double bedroom or gallery, with ensuite (shower, basin and WC). Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Amenities Full oil fired central heating with radiators on first floor and underfloor heating on ground floor. Electric halogen hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, colour TV, DVD, CD player/radio, library of books/DVDs. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for one car. Small gravelled area with garden furniture. Two small, well behaved dogs welcome at £20 charge per week (total charge is £20 whether bringing 1 or 2 dogs).
