The small village of Rachub quietly nestles at the foot of the great Carneddau Mountain, amongst the magnificent Snowdonian Mountain Range, just 9 miles from Llanberis. Housing a traditional shop, welcoming pub, bakery and small post office, the area abounds in wonderful walks and cycle trails in the surrounding hills and mountains. The popular tourist centre of Llanberis, renowned as a Mecca for climbers and walkers, lies just 9 miles away and offers a host of outdoor activities including pony trekking, paragliding, diving and various watersports. Llanberis also provides some excellent places to eat and drink and coupled with some great shops offers a lovely day out for all the family. The beautiful North Wales Heritage Coastline is within 7 miles, whilst the bustling market town of Caernarfon is only 10 miles away, boasting a magnificent 13th Century castle, pretty art shops, a great golf course and many fine restaurants. A superb location all year round, perfect for exploring all that North Wales has to offer.

A charming, 19th Century, stone built, end terrace cottage, wonderfully sited amidst the foothills of the Snowdonian Mountain Range in the centre of the small village of Rachub, just 9 miles from Llanberis. Lovingly renovated to retain much of its original character, the property boasts a wealth of exposed beams, an impressive, stone inglenook fireplace in the cosy sitting room and a pretty patio garden, perfect for dining al fresco. Boasting many superb walks from the doorstep, this charming cottage is also ideally located within 7 miles of the North Wales Coastline, whilst the popular tourist attractions and outdoor activities of Llanberis lie just 9 miles away. The bustling town of Caernarfon, with its majestic 13th Century castle, golf course and host of shops, pubs and restaurants is within a 15 minute drive making this a perfect location for a fun packed holiday at any time of year.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x adult bunks. Bathroom with separate shower cubicle, basin and WC. Modern fitted kitchen. Sitting room with dining area and multi-fuel stove.

Double gas oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, flat screen Colour TV with basic satellite Freeview, DVD, stereo/CD player etc. Fuel, power and starter pack for multi-fuel stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Stairgate available. Off road parking in free car park 50 yds from cottage. Patio garden with garden furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk.

The cottage was well equipped and comfortable, everything was provided with nice touches such as flowers, milk, tea and coffee and an ideal base to tour the area. The weather was brilliant, the countryside stunning and the attractions were amazing (especially the Electric Mountain). Would have no hesitation in recommending to friends or relatives.
