Feb 2008 | The cottage was in the perfect location with fantastic mountain views to the front, just on the outskirts of Manod Village. The view out of the main bedroom window of the cottage is wonderful. Contact with the local people was very friendly and welcoming. The local beaches are within easy driving distance and were clean and mostly deserted. The walk up to the hidden lake from the cottage is a must (great place for a picnic). All in all a great base to explore Snowdonia either on foot or by car. Last but not least, we were sent details by the owners of the cottage, places to see, things to do, good places to eat etc.

May 2007 | Another fantastic New Year in another lovely cottage. Warm and cosy, especially with the log fire. We loved our walks to the hidden lake, and Black Rock Sands is stunning 'in the bleak mid winter!'. We will be back!
