This cottage was well above our expectations. It is probably the nicest we have stayed in and we have stayed in some lovely ones. We would have no problem in returning to this cottage.

A lovely roomy cottage, peaceful surroundings, unobtrusive owners.
Mr Askeu, Southampton, Hampshire
Sep 2007
The location was great as we live in a small town in a terrace house so the contrast was very good and the first time we had done this type of holiday. The size of the cottage with the beams was especially nice, as were the views westwards over fields with bulls often frequenting them.
Mr Honeyman, Newhaven, East Sussex
Jun 2007
We were made very welcome with fresh flowers and tea and scones. Plenty of places to eat in nearby Masham and Leyburn.
Mrs Kendall, Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire

The area around the cottage is very attractive, and it was a pleasant cottage to return to at the end of a day exploring. We enjoyed our visit to Fountains Abbey, Hackfall Woods and Scar House Reservoir.
