| Previous Visitors' Comments | This was our second visit to Apsley Cottage, so we knew to expect a high standard of accommodation. There's still plenty to discover and do on the island and we are contemplating a third visit to the Cottage.

Jun 2008 | The cottage was very clean and uncluttered, everything we needed was there.
Mrs Sugden, Norwich, Norfolk
May 2008 | The house was exceptionally clean and well cared-for and the caretakers were kind and very helpful. The heating was very efficient, which I appreciated in a wet and cold week in November. Everything was to a high standard and the kitchen was very well equipped.
Miss Whitehouse, London,
Nov 2007 | Absolutely brilliant, loved the comfortable homely feel. It had everything that we required. Definitely going to return to this property next year.
Miss Toner, Enfield,
Sep 2007 | The cottage was to a very high standard, the weather was good (some sunshine and nil precipitation) and there were plenty of things to do on the island. The cottage was helpfully located within a few minutes of a shop, a pub, a library, a Chinese and even a brewery! The town of Ventnor was pleasant and a number of attractions were within easy reach. The TV featured many of the Sky channels including CBBC which our 2 year old daughter greatly enjoyed. (Dad became quite a fan of CBB's presentation of SpringWatch and the interesting features delivered daily by "Special Reporter Jelly".Based on the mid season brochure price, the cottage represented very good value for money.

Jun 2007 | Close enough to the beach, very modern and clean accommodation, brilliant value for money! And a cheap local only a three doors away.
Mr Emery, Broseley, Shropshire
May 2007 | Whole property thoughtfully arranged, with nice touches such as the fresh flowers and welcoming tray and addressed letter, bubble bath etc. We had superb walking weather and enjoyed elegant Victorian Ventnor out of season.
Mrs Roles, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Apr 2007 | The cottage was beautifully clean, well appointed and well placed for walking into town. The superior LCD TV + Sky was brilliant when we just wanted to take a few minutes to just sit and relax. Nice collection of information to guide our activities. The efficient service from Sykes was great given the lateness of the booking and the accurate description on the web helped inform our choice to take the cottage. Would definitely use Sykes again.
