The beautiful Pennine village of Pecket Well is ideally situated on a south-facing hillside, a calm and quiet spot just 2 miles from the centre of the cosmopolitan and lively town of Hebden Bridge. Pecket Well borders the National Trust Woodland of Hardcastle Crags and Crimsworth Dean, whilst enjoying one of the most famous views in Calderdale, over the hill tops, across the ancient village of Heptonstall and onwards to the Stoodley Pike monument beyond. Surrounded by open countryside, the village offers superb walking opportunities (many finishing at the nearby family-friendly pub) over open moorland towards Haworth and Luddenden via the Calderdale Way, which runs directly through the village and down twisting, romantic paths through ancient woodland and along a river to nearby Hebden Bridge. Nearby Hebden Bridge is a diverse and bohemian town home to restaurants, bars, bistros, markets, an independent cinema, art galleries, the picturesque Rochdale canal and a delightful Victorian railway station. Alternatively a scenic car ride over the moors takes you to the splendid Parsonage Museum which commemorates the famous Bronte family. The area is also a must for steam railway enthusiasts who will enjoy the thriving Worth Valley Railway, whilst the highly acclaimed Eureka Museum is in Halifax, noted for its unique Piece Hall and its Victorian architecture. Skipton, "Gateway to the Dales", is also an easy and scenic car ride away. The ammenities of Leeds and Manchester are both accessible by a regular and direct train service from Hebden Bridge.

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x Kingsize double with ensuite (separate shower, basin and WC), 1 x Kingsize double. Folding bed available. Bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with access to patio. Utility room.

Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 32" flat panel colour TV, DVD, radio/CD player/Ipod jack etc. Small library of books/games/DVDs/CDs. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Free unlimited internet connection available (with wire and wireless). Decked patio area running the length of property with garden furniture, double hammock and BBQ. Off road parking for 1 car with additional visitor parking for 1 car (on first come first served basis) and unlimited parking on public road adjacent to mill. Two well behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 2 miles, pub 1 min walk.
