The thriving Lakeland village of Staveley is situated on the eastern fringes of the Lake District National Park and offers superb access to the whole region. The village has an excellent range of amenities including a variety of shops, three pubs, a craft shop and a Railway Station. Cycle hire is available in the village's famous bike shop whilst the whole area offers great walking opportunities. Close by, the bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are popular with visitors, providing a range of amenities to suit all tastes. Lake Windermere offers boat trips, including a ferry to the Lakeside Aquarium and Grizedale Forest Park. The 'Windermere Steamboat Museum' displays a fascinating collection of boats whilst children will enjoy the 'World of Beatrix Potter' in Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. Within easy reach of Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains, Staveley is ideally situated for exploring all that the region has to offer.

With wonderful walks also available from the doorstep as well as the nearby towns of Windermere, Bowness, Ambleside and Kendal all within a short drive, Ghyll Bank Bungalow provides an ideal place to get away from it all! Note: This property can be booked with ref 2026 to accommodate up to 19 people.

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. Utility room.

Electric storage heaters and radiators throughout with additional electric fire in sitting area. Double electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine (in adjacent utility room), colour TV, DVD. Storage heating and first £4 of other electricity inc. in rent with remainder of electricity charged on £1 coin meter. Bed linen inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Shared grounds with private patio area, garden furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles.
