The thriving village of Necton is situated at the heart of Norfolk, between the market towns of Swaffham and Dereham and hosts a welcoming pub with restaurant, a village store with butchers and a post office, whilst an impressive Norman church dominates the village and boasts a beautiful carved oak communion table dating back to 1086 and a wonderful Jacobean pulpit. Visit Bradenham Hall, a fine Georgian house with over 27 acres of beautiful gardens and arboretum, reputed to have been visited by Lord Nelson, or enjoy the infamous Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coastal Path, offering 93 tranquil miles of picturesque Norfolk countryside closeby, great for walking, cycling and horse riding. The pretty market town of Dereham is just 6 miles away offering a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants and a local farmers' market every fortnight. Plenty to see and do in this lovely location.

The pretty garden features its own babbling brook, leading to 2 acres of land where ducks and chickens roam free. Follow Peddars Way to the village of Castle Acre, absorbing the tranquil countryside, explore Bradenham Hall with its whispering arboretum and striking gardens or the pretty market town of Dereham, home to an array of shops, cafes and restaurants. A wonderful base for a romantic getaway.

All first floor: One double bedroom with ensuite (shower, basin & WC). Fitted kitchen with breakfast bar & 2 stools. Sitting room with woodburner.

Fuel, power & starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, Z bed & highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Lawned garden with furniture & BBQ. One well behaved dog welcome at £10 per week. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: Unfenced brook at bottom of garden - property only suitable for children aged 2 yrs and under. Note: Front door accessed via 12 wooden steps. Note: Due to horses, ducks & chickens at property dogs must be kept on a lead. Note: Bedroom & sitting room accessed via sloping doorways lower than standard height.

The Hayloft was a good base to explore Norfolk and the owners were really helpful and friendy. At the end of our day out in Norfolk, it was nice to look forward to go back to the Hayloft.
